So, you've found a website (probably an intranet site?) that you need to download all the files of a specific type.....
Well, here it is: File Hunter!
Currently, File Hunter has the main file-types that most people are interested in:
What's the point, if you have to keep entering in different URL's for each search you want to do... with the Recursive option enabled, File Hunter will search for any links from the base URL you give it, and will follow those links, searching for even more files! Be careful you don't start at the beginning of the internet - it'll take a LONG time!
Not sure the downloads are going OK, perhaps the site uses the latest web scripting (CGI / Java / PHP) - how do you know what's going on? Enabling the Show Contents option allows you to see the actual page as it's downloaded. If you want, you can even save it to disk to be checked later.
At the moment, this application is still in Beta testing - if you'd like to become a Beta tester for our software drop us a line. Otherwise, come back soon - it'll probably be ready by then!
